Children's Education in Nepal
At COYON, the education of children is our primary objective. We believe that providing children with access to quality education is essential for their future success and the overall development of the community. To achieve this goal, we have been heavily involved in a variety of educational projects over the last 20 years including the construction of schools and libraries, the provision of school supplies and uniforms, and the implementation of programs to improve infrastructure.
Though school education is free and mandatory, large number of children dropout from schools, specially from the backward and socially weak community of the rural areas, because of poor economic status. We are continuously working for Children Education in Nepal, helping these children by providing full scholarship including foods, uniform & school supplies.
Happy Child
Happy Child is a distance adoption project that aims to provide support to poor and needy children, often orphaned by one or both parents, of any social background, including castes from the most remote rural or mountainous areas. The support includes a complete educational program, until the age of majority, with all the necessary assistance to continue their studies. In addition, the project provides everything necessary for the healthy and carefree growth of the children, through complete financial support, which keeps them away from work that is not suitable for their tender age and takes care of their basic needs (food, housing, clothing, medical visits, etc.). The project also shows affection and care for the children, including organizing annual trips to tourist locations in Nepal where the children can learn about and discover their beautiful country.
Happy Child program has been able to provide support and assistance to a significant number of children over the past 15 years. It is important for programs like this to be able to provide ongoing support to children in need, as it can help to improve their quality of life and provide them with the tools and resources they need to succeed. It is also important for programs like this to be able to reach as many children as possible, and it is great to tell you that more than 350 children get directly benifited from Happy Child program over the past 15 years.
